Tour Specifics

Each of our tours of the Cantabria area of Northern Spain is a unique travel experience.  We take your specific interests in mind to plan an unforgettable trip for you in this corner of Green Spain.  Our groups are limited to 8 persons providing ultimate flexibility and access to many places that are hard or impossible to get into with larger groups.  Cantabria is relatively small but has distinct areas each with its unique merits.   We recommend a week for a complete experience.

We offer our tours year round.  Each season in Cantabria has its own charm, with four true seasons of weather.  May to September brings the most visitors to the region coinciding with the best weather.  July and August tend to be the liveliest with much of Spain and Europe on vacation and many festivals in Cantabria. May, June and September tend to have good weather but are less boisterous. The rest of the year is very quiet around Cantabria and a delightful time to visit, having the region virtually to yourself.

Carefree Planning

We provide just about everything you need to make your experience unique yet hassle free and enjoyable:

- Transfers: to/from your arrival/departure point
- Accommodations: options based on your preferences, we book for you
- Transportation: daily excursions by private vehicle including all fuel
- Personal Local Guide: lifetime local knowledge of the area
- Meals:  we select quality restaurants for your meals with your preferences in mind
- Entrance fees/tickets: we handle reservations for all sites/places during your visit
- Optional activities: we can arrange Spanish language classes, fly fishing, golf, horseback riding, going to a spa, or adventure sports activities (canoeing, canyoning , caving, surfing, mountaineering, paragliding, zip lining etc.)

Tour Pricing

We price our tours on an individual case basis and based on the specifics of your particular tour (dates, length, choice of accommodations, etc.). Certain costs can vary significantly with the time of year you choose to visit, how much lead time you book with and foreign exchange rates at the time of booking.
